Canadian Tire Jumpstart is an organization developed to make sure that every child athlete can play the sport that they desire without any financial restrictions. Their goal is to get children into the games.
Physical activity is essential to life, it keeps kids healthy, gives them self-assurance and control, and helps improve their innovation. Jumpstart Canadian Tire wants to make sure that every child has the opportunity to participate in the sport that they are passionate about.

Applications for Financial Assistance can usually be submitted between January 15 and November 1st.
The criteria required to be accepted into Jumpstart Canadian Tire Financial Assistance are:

Is your family in a demographic which would be considered in financial need?

Financial Assistance via the KidSport Ontario Program
KidSport Ontario is a grassroots Canadian non-profit organization that provides support to under-resourced children and youth 18 years of age and under by removing financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.
KidSport believes that no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sport.
KidSport provides financial assistance to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.
