Milton, Ontario — Halton Hawks FC is proud to announce that it has officially been approved by Canada Soccer as a Quality Soccer Provider (QSP) under the Canada Soccer National Youth Club Licensing Program.

The Quality Soccer Provider designation recognizes organizations that meet Canada Soccer’s national standards for governance, safety, and player development. Clubs awarded this status demonstrate their commitment to delivering developmentally appropriate, safe, enjoyable, accessible, and inclusive soccer programming for participants while operating in good standing with their governing organizations.

The recognition forms part of Canada Soccer’s broader Club Licensing Program, which aims to raise standards across the country by supporting organizations in implementing best practices both on and off the field.

For Halton Hawks FC, this achievement marks an important milestone in the club’s continued commitment to excellence in player development and community programming.

This recognition by Canada Soccer is another important step forward for our club,” said Technical Director Vasco Nunes. “It confirms that the standards we are implementing at Halton Hawks FC — both technically and organizationally — align with the national benchmarks for quality soccer in Canada. Our mission has always been to provide a safe, development-focused environment where young players can learn, grow, and develop a true understanding of the game. Being recognized as a Quality Soccer Provider reinforces that commitment.

The designation also highlights the club’s dedication to long-term player development principles, coach education, and the creation of an environment that prioritizes both player enjoyment and learning.

Halton Hawks FC will continue to build on this foundation by expanding programs, supporting coach development, and further implementing its player development framework, including the Xcel Coaching Model, designed to develop intelligent, creative, and confident footballers.

As the sport continues to grow in Canada—particularly with the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup being hosted across North America—Halton Hawks FC remains committed to raising standards locally while contributing to the broader development of the game nationally.
