Halton Hawks FC Welcomes Coach Nicholas “Nick” Andreou

Milton, ON — Halton Hawks FC is proud to officially introduce Nicholas Andreou, known to many as Coach Nick, as part of our growing coaching staff.

Coach Nick’s journey began in House League, where he dedicated four years to building grassroots soccer before stepping into the competitive side of the game three years ago. Starting as a volunteer, he quickly advanced to assistant coach and has since taken on head coaching responsibilities with dedication and enthusiasm.

In 2024, Nick earned his Canada Soccer C-License, solidifying his credentials and commitment to player development. His coaching experience spans across multiple age groups, including U8, U10, U13, U15, and U16, giving him a broad perspective on youth soccer development.

Beyond the pitch, Nick remains an active goalkeeper and is a lifelong supporter of Manchester United. He is also a proud father of two young players, further deepening his connection to the game and the soccer community.

Coach Nick’s philosophy is both simple and inspiring: to create lasting memories, play good football, and develop not only skilled players, but also good human beings.

“Coach Nick embodies the values we want every Halton Hawks coach to bring to the field,” said Vasco Nunes, Technical Director of Halton Hawks FC. “His journey from volunteer to licensed coach shows his dedication, and his passion for developing not just players but people fits perfectly with our club’s vision. We’re excited to see the positive impact he will have on our players and community this season.”

This season, Coach Nick will be working alongside Coach Ricardo with the 2011 age group and will serve as the Head Coach of the Green Team.
